Great camera. All local everything and Scrypted lets you link it into HomeKit and the other ecosystems

POE doesn't sound like a great idea when replacing an existing doorbell button. I couldn't imagine trying to run a cat5/cat 6 cable to any of my three doorbell button locations.

I guess it just depends on your use case. It would be pretty simple in my case.

Was this pretty simple to set up? Just about to start this process and appreciate the insights! Cloud/wifi based cameras seem easy to hack in to unfortunately.
