Amazon has three economic books for free on Kindle, all written in 2017/2018. Two of them are technically for highschool AP courses.

4.5/5 stars on Amazon
3.8-3.9/5 stars on Goodreads

Principles of Economics [amazon.com]

Principles of Macroeconomics for AP® Courses 2e [amazon.com]

Principles of Microeconomics for AP® Courses 2e [amazon.com]

They have other topics on Kindle for free [amazon.com] as well, including but not limited to Statistics, Astronomy, Physics, Biology, and other business and STEM subjects.

You can also get them and other books for free on OpenStax [openstax.org]*, particularly if you don't have a Kindle.

I am not affiliated in any way with OpenStax. I was merely looking for a basic macroeconomics book and ran across these.

*OpenStax is a nonprofit educational technology initiative based at Rice University. Since 2012, OpenStax has created peer-reviewed, openly licensed textbooks, which are available as free downloadable PDFs, web versions, audiobooks and for a low cost in print.

You're welcome! I am about 25 minutes into the Macroeconomics book, and so far I like the altitude of it. It's easy to understand yet informative.

They have other topics here for free as well. I just downloaded a free Statistics book and Astronomy book. They have Physics, Calculus, Biology, and other STEM subjects as well for thoese interested.

Pay attention to the part about financial repression, currency debasement, and yield-curve control. You're going to need it!

Retired people have to keep brain occupied or it'll shrink and rot.

So my final thought is if I read macroeconomics my brain will expand, but if I read microeconomics my brain will shrink. Thanks for the info!
