Dawn Platinum Plus Powerwash Dish Spray is a handy quick-clean spray for dishes, sinks, and counters, with a fresh scent and strong value at this price. It works well for fast dish washing, and the sprayer-only deal is appealing when a handle is wearing out. The main caution is scent sensitivity, since the Dawn Platinum smell can trigger headaches and some cleaning residue or lingering taste has been reported on dishes and drinkware. A practical pick if you want the spray format and can tolerate the fragrance.
people who want a quick dish-spray for fast dishwashing because commenters say it "works great for a quick dish wash" and is "great value."
people cleaning sinks, counters, and non-dish items like Crocs because one commenter says they use it for those surfaces and "haven't noticed" lingering smell.
buyers who are specifically trying to replace a dying sprayer without buying refills because one commenter was "waiting for this to go on sale without the refills, just want the dang sprayer."
people who don't mind a stronger fragrance because at least one commenter says the Gain version "leaves a strong smell and stays with the unit cleaned for a bit."
DIY-minded shoppers who want to reuse the bottle because a commenter shared a copycat mix (Dawn + distilled water + isopropyl alcohol) for making their own spray after using it up.
people who are sensitive to lingering taste or smell on dishes and drinkware because one commenter reports they could taste and smell it for days and even tested by tasting milk/cups, then stopped using it.
people who get headaches from fragrance because a commenter says the Dawn Platinum scent "give me a headache."
people who only want to buy at the advertised low price because one commenter reports the price jumps to $4.94 when added to cart even with Subscribe & Save.

To make a copycat Powerwash dish spray, combine 13 oz of distilled water, 2 oz of Dawn dish soap, and 1 oz of 70% isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle. Gently shake to mix, and let it sit for a few hours before use for the ingredients to fully combine.

I'd be lying if I said this didn't arouse my suspicion about the others, but I'm the kind of person who cranks the water heater up to max and blames anyone who burns themselves so... take every precaution anytime you're using anything that you didn't make yourself. Life is basically just a waiting game at this point so whatever.
