You lose the bluetooth function in the S-pen, as well as the magnetic s-pen storage on the back.
You lose the anti-reflective screen coating.
You lose the dual front cameras.
The battery is rated for only 1200 cycles instead of the S10U's 2000 cycles (but real world performance can't be fully tested yet).
You lose haptic feedback. The S11U does not have a vibration sensor.


With the S11 Ultra you gain: a brighter screen, a redesigned S-pen (some like it better for drawing), and a slightly thinner profile. The new processor and GPU will also play games and render videos faster.

I will stay away from their trade-in. After 7 months, I got an email saying your device works fine but it cannot copy data. It was just a stupid reason. I copied data and then only sent it to them. And why after 7 months?

So after 7 months, you had still not received your trade-in value and then they canceled it? Or they provided it initially, and then canceled it after 7 months? Not saying that it did not happen, but I'm not sure how they could do either.

From previous Samsung trade-in deals, a couple of things to do are:
  1. Video the factory reset, booting up successfully and packing of your trade-in in case they reject it oftentimes saying it wasn't factory reset.
  2. After the set amount of business days in the trade-in email (25?), call or chat with Samsung customer service and they will manually approve the trade-in.
