When my Garmin Vivoactive 3 died, I thought about buying a Vivoactive 5, but then I read the spec sheet and saw that Garmin removed the altimeter feature from the Vivoactive 5. If you enjoy hilly endurance sports like bicycling, hiking, or trail running, the altimeter is one of the most important features. After that, I ditched Garmin altogether and switched to an Amazfit Active 2 watch that has all the features and performance that I need for 1/3 the price.
