The C300 with AC is bigger/heavier - not the end of the world but thats one of draws to these smaller packs:
9.1lb vs 6.2lb
6.5 x 6.3 x 9.5 vs 4.9 x 4.7 x 7.9
Community Reviews
The Anker SOLIX C300 DC is a compact DC-only power station that works best as a portable battery for phones, tablets, laptops, and other 12 volt gear. Its lighter, smaller design makes it easier to carry than the AC version, and the included 100 watt USB C charger adds real value. It also fits practical uses like camping CPAPs, road trips, router or modem backup, and even a 12 volt fridge. The main limitation is the lack of AC output, so it will not run appliances like microwaves, toasters, or serve as a typical desktop UPS. A sensible pick if you want portability over outlet-style power.
Common Questions (5)
Costco has sold the same DC model for about $120, sometimes including the charging brick, so this Woot price is slightly higher. The Woot offer can still be attractive if you want the included 100W USB-C charger.
No. It is a DC-only model with no AC outputs, so it will not work as a typical UPS for a desktop or other AC-powered gear. It is better suited to direct DC loads and USB devices, and the lack of an inverter keeps it lighter.
Yes, the deal can include a free 100W USB-C wall charger, and the charger alone is valued at about $40 to $50. Some buyers also received a C300X package that included the 100W wall charger.
Yes, it can be a good fit for router/modem backup because those are DC devices and may run through the unit's DC outputs or with the right barrel adapter. It is not intended for higher-draw AC appliances, so it works best for low-power networking gear.
It works best as a large power bank for laptops, phones, tablets, and other DC gear. It has been used for camping CPAP, road trips, kids' electronics, a laptop, and even a 12V fridge, but it is not suitable for high-draw appliances like microwaves or toasters.

It's possible. You could design a USB-C trigger that outputs the DC voltage (typically 12 or 20V) that these devices pull from their power bricks. Just feed the Anker with power and believe they have a battery charging bypass once the battery hits 100% so the power goes directly to your devices
