What you linked is a core model. In fact walmart sells this for $27. What was posted by OP seems to be Amazfit Bip 5 Smart and from the woot page, the condition is listed as new.

I own bip6. It doesn't work very well with IPhone. Zepp app need to be running on the background all the time to use every feature. Calling works fine but messaging don't. It is accurate tho I tested with my treadmill and my phone.

Community Reviews

The Amazfit Bip 5 Smart is a budget smartwatch that stands out for its large display, long battery life, and basic fitness and sleep tracking. The $20 price makes it feel like a low-risk way to try Amazfit features, especially for runs, alarms, and everyday notifications. The 46mm case is fairly large, and the watch is not the same as the core version, which lacks built in GPS. Messaging and full app features may require the Zepp app to stay open in the background, and durability concerns were also raised.

Looks like a great deal. Other sites are listing for more than double this price.

Thank You.

FWIW, Bip 6 has much better reviews if you care, 4.4 vs 4.1. Great deal but I'll wait for 6.

I think it's actually a different version that has built in GPS and Alexa built in for $67.56 on Amazon. The "core" version (the one for $46.99) does NOT have built in GPS.

From the reviews I've seen, it's a significant upgrade. You need to decide what's worth it to you (upgrades: screen, battery, sensors, etc).

For my lifestyle, yes Bip 6 would be worth it.

Also....$20 is rock bottom for a good enough smart watch to tinker with 🤷 ♂️

Interesting, my super old T Rex (original model) worked fine for receiving messages and limited app alerts without the Zepp app constantly running.

Does this work as well as a regular fitbit? Or any apps for it?

Heck people, it's $20! This is a great price for a good enough smart watch that won't break the bank, especially for my 10 and 12 year old kids.
