Can i still use my old angle frames for these? i think mine is the original video doorbell 2…and can it use the batteries too? had my original for almost 10 years now..

No to both. This does not have a removable battery, you'll need to take the whole camera off to charge it.

The other issue to be aware of is that it's functionality is very limited if you don't subscribe to their cloud storage service.

This isn't a joke. For about a month now, Ring has enabled always-on facial recognition, and requires an address to set up your account. The video your doorbell generates can be shared with federal agencies.
