Regarding the deal, I own three of the Dreamegg products (two of the tiny ones and the recently-posted one with the clock and LED light on top). The tiny ones travel with us and the clock one sits on my nightstand. It hasn't replaced my old Marpac Dohm machine from 2008 yet, but I find the sound quality to be nearly as good, especially for a small speaker. All of them sound way better than any sleep sounds app that I've used on my S24 Ultra. Like the person said earlier, these things are amazing at what they do.

However it's just good enough for things like white noise or thunderstorm. It sounds plasticky but has decent rumble and overall sound profile is acceptable, I don't find it annoying or distracting (like Homedics machines which sound so bad I can't tolerate them even for a second), I don't really judge it by realism but by the noise it makes (I see thunderstorm as noise, not as actual thunderstorm if that makes sense)
I love this damn thing. Best thing is that I can just grab it and take it anywhere. One button press turns it on and it plays the thunder or whatever the last thing you played, it remembers all the settings.
Before that I played youtube videos on Wonderboom too... so much hassle, you have to connect both to USB cables so they don't shut down 2 hrs later, then you have to pair them, then you have to load youtube video, turn off screens, set them up on a pillow or shelf or floor... so much stupid fidlling with crap, I hated it so bad. The actual sound quality and realism doesn't matter to me when I'm just trying to fall asleep, as I don't listen to it actively. It's just background noise.
This thing you just press a button and you're done. Lasts several nights, charges very quickly.
And like I said, sounds perfectly functional. I have no problem falling asleep to it. I try not to use it frequently (it's a bit unhealthy if you think about it), but because it's so easy to turn on I tend to do it, just because.
Got these for $20 and pretty happy with it.
It's great. Options for white noise, nature sounds and lullaby's.
I think I've recharged it twice in 6 months.
10/10 would recommend.
The sound quality is not great per se. It's a cheap speaker.
