Per rtings, s95f is 8.9 overall while G5 is 9.0 overall. So very similar however currently this Samsung is significantly cheaper via EPP.

Can't justify the S95 being almost double than the S90...

While at the same time they rate s95f as best tv currently.

What is the reason someone would go with the 95f over the 90f?

Anyone have thoughts on whether the s95f would be OK with getting direct sunlight maybe an hour a day?

I was initially thinking OLED but people said direct sunlight will destroy it and I should look elsewhere?

I picked up a 65" S95F last week and its in my living room with a south facing window directly behind my couch. It does a great job with reflections. My prior TV I would see the window/blinds as a reflection. Clear as day. Now its muted tremendously. I really like this panel in my bright room.

I want OLED so bad, but the room I want to put it in has light coming from both sides of the house. =/

I'm looking for a new 83" OLED 4k HDR that's high refresh. Wondering how Stardew Valley will look on one of these?

I agree I saw this in my brother's living room does a great job with reducing the glare.

Brighter and better reflection handling than S90.
For a dark room the S90 does the job just as well.

Also note 83" panel is not QD-OLED like the smaller sizes. I would not get an 83" of this TV, much better off with a G5.
