When you compare these to mini pc's, price for the hardware you get always favors the mini pc. But when you factor in some of the build quality issues, bios update, and bloatware they come loaded with, it's often worth it to get the mini mac.
Have this with a 512GB drive. It is an absolute monster. Satechi external enclosure with 2TB MSI Spatium completes it. I am also virtualizing W11 via Fusion and the thing barely breaks a sweat. Highly recommend.

Any recomendation for the display if you want to do graphics and photo editing?
How much do you want to spend? If you're okay with 60Hz then a Studio Display for $1500 would give you the full Apple experience but there are a lot of monitors in that price range that will get you the color outputs and whatnot with better refresh rates, screen size, etc
