Bought one of these a while back for a bedroom. Definitely a lot better than the built-in speakers on the cheap Hisense TV. Pretty solid bass. Mid-range sound is a bit tinny with lots of extra sibilance you need to tweak in settings. Pairs very nicely with RokuTV - most settings accessible using TV audio menu. I do not have any audio lag, which some reviews mention. Fine if you're not too picky, but if using on your primary TV, I would spring for something that sounds a bit better. But good bang-for-buck overall.
