fx2 is pretty much a mid range photography lens in a video body. you are better off with a zve1(lower price) or the new a7v for a couple hundred more if you are looking to do video work. hobbyist just get a6700 or fx30.

This would be $600 less than the a7v

What? Photography lens? This is body only - no lens at all.

Agreed - cheaper aps-c lenses, not losing much (any?) DR, $600 or so cheaper.

You can use APS-C lenses with the FX2. Just put it in APS-C Crop Mode.

Basically only reason to get FX2 is full frame tho.

My point is that the FX2 can utilize APS-C lenses as well as the FX30 can, so the claim of cheaper APS-C lenses in favor of the FX30 is moot. The FX30 is a good camera, and many people like it, but the FX2 does have a few things going for it, including the ability to use full frame lenses, a mechanical shutter and better handling for still photographs, and the electronic viewfinder. The FX2's sensor does experience rolling shutter like that of the A7IV, but it is otherwise a great camera. I must admit that I am considering it at this price.
