Blue Diamond almonds come through as a solid pantry deal when the rebate works, with the three can pack still feeling worthwhile even at full price. The rebate has a hard cap of 5,800 offers, and the site has been finicky, so timing matters. Approval can be fast, sometimes within hours or about 30 hours, but payment may still take 2 to 4 weeks and some submissions never get a response. The safest read is a decent price on almonds with rebate risk attached.
people who are comfortable submitting rebate receipts quickly because the approval email can come in about 30 hours (and one commenter saw a receipt approved within hours after upload).
buyers who can follow the rebate instructions carefully (including checking spam) because multiple commenters reported the process was "easy peasy" with receipt acknowledgement and an approval email, and they advised checking spam if no email arrives.
Walmart online shoppers who want a rebate-backed snack deal because one commenter said Walmart will refund food items (which reduces the risk if the rebate doesn't land).
people who don't want rebate "gambles" because the offer is limited (e.g., 5,800 submissions / limit 3 receipts) and commenters reported the rebate site can be finicky or block uploads once the limit is reached.
buyers who need guaranteed rebate timing because some commenters submitted and never received any response, and others were approved but still waiting on Venmo payment weeks later.
people who are relying on Amazon for refunds on food items because one commenter said Amazon won't refund food items, which makes the rebate riskier if something goes wrong.
Receipt acknowledgement can arrive immediately, and approval has ranged from a few hours to about 30 hours after upload. The approval email says payment can take 2 to 4 weeks, and some submissions have still been waiting at the 4-week mark.
The rebate is limited to 3 offers per person, so you can submit up to three receipts for three cans each. The current promotion also has a hard cap of 5,800 total offers, so it can run out before all submissions are processed.
The offer can stop accepting invoice uploads once the cap is reached, even if your cans already arrived. The current promotion has been reported as reaching its limit after the 5,800-submission cap was hit.
Did it take 30 hours for them to send an email after uploading the receipt? I uploaded my receipt this am and hav not received an email so wondering if that's normal.
I received a "Your receipt has been received" email immediately after uploading the receipt, then a "Your receipt has been approved" email about 30 hours later.
Scam. Submitted and did not receive any response. The almonds were good however
Don't give up hope! I ordered Nov 17 and didn't get my rebate until Dec 3. I took a really crappy screenshot of my amazon invoice off my TV, which could have been the problem.
Even if the rebate never came through, I was happy to plow through 3 cans of almonds I would never usually buy.
Another data point. Ordered from Walmart yesterday online. Submitted a screen cap of my order details, received an acknowledgement of receipt a few minutes later, and an approval email within a few hours. Almonds showed up at my door shortly after that.
Easy peasy. Check spam folder if you didn't get any email back after submitting.
I received a "Your receipt has been received" email immediately after uploading the receipt, then a "Your receipt has been approved" email about 30 hours later.
Thank you, I didn't get that email so re-uploaded and immediately received the email.
Typical corporate fraud. "5800 offers," LOL. They'll just deny your rebate on the pretext that you're submission 5801. This is purely intentional...no marketing "professional" is so naive to think only 5800 people are going to claim this.
they approved all my 3 submissions.

Still seems to be going strong. Made my third and final purchase this morning, submitted at 9:32 AM, approved at 9:41 AM. Going much fast now than my first submission a few days ago. Solid deal as long as all $30 comes back, thanks OP.
I submitted (x2) and was approved back on 12/10 for each submission. It's been just at the 4 week mark, and I've NOT received any venmo payment. Did others that received the BD 'approval email' get their payments yet, or are you still waiting as well? BD approval email indicates could take 2 to 4 wks for payment, that's why I'm asking.
