This will browse the web, play YouTube videos, and open Google Drive files but too many tabs or too large a document and you'll notice the sluggishness of the hardware. But for $90, if that suits your needs then it's not a bad buy.

Gateway is pure junk....despite the many many complaints onine i bought one & learnt it the hard way...this should not be sold..its a scam..i think they are just slowly dumping their garbage on unsuspecting folks who are short of funds with no time to fight back once it dies in 6-9 months..

Let me attest to same. Just after the warranty expiration, my screen fell out (taped it back on) & there were other problems w/ the electronic components. Gateway said tough titty & would not offer assistance. Caveat Emptor.

Definitely junk, but if you're desperate for a throwaway computer it's an option.

Yes I bought a like new open box for $95 with 8GB and it is nearly as fast as my I5 with a Celeron. Chrome is very good at not needing a great CPU.

But if you are just browsing with not too many tabs and doing light tasks this should work just fine and the care on an 11" one is not that much smaller, unless it is a tablet.

Exactly the same but in my case it happened in warranty...that and the USB port wasn't working...after wasting time delaying their replies & return shipping to 'fix'..they sent me the laptop back with the USB ports still not working requiring another ship back at which point they said warranty over & i need to pay to ship & for parts...i still haven't got time to file a small caims suit..have it all ready but didn't get to it yet..
