I would have to have A LOT of space I'm my garage to consider something so specialized and big, or a fetish for hyperextensions. It also seems overpriced for tune steel and a couple cheap pads and foam that will surely get destroyed quick if you swinging hyper extension against.

Came to say this. They're great for rehab and if you need to strengthen your erectors (aka powerlifting or Olympic lifting) but man does it command a lot of space for being so specialized.

+1 on this comment, I bought last time there was a deal thinking I would use much more than I have. It is also a little annoying that it doesn't break down flat without taking out some bolts, would be nice to be able to move aside to gain some space back.

I got a similar one for hyperextensions, and as soon as I get lazy with them my lower back flares up again. Great for rehab as long as you build really slow and easy.
Much, much cheaper than a proper GHD chair and can be used for almost all the same stuff like hyperextended situps. But my square footage is too precious, so I'll stick with stiff-leg DLs and Good Mornings for now.
