You can use the app, select warehouse and search for Lego to see price and stock. But unfortunately, not very accurate, both showed centerpiece as in stock, but that was not the case. They did have plenty of the other two though.

Community Reviews

Costco's in warehouse LEGO botanical sets stand out for sharp warehouse pricing on the Japanese Bonsai Tree and Christmas Table Decoration centerpiece, with the centerpiece also showing up as a strong gift option. The Costco app's new warehouse search can surface item numbers, prices, and stock, and typing LEGO in the description field helps find them. The main catch is that stock status is unreliable, with in stock listings sometimes meaning nothing is actually left. That makes these a good value hunt if you can verify availability in person.

Costco shoppers who are willing to use the Costco app's warehouse pricing to hunt for specific items in-store because the app can show the warehouse price and they were able to pick up multiple units at the listed price.

Gift buyers looking for a seasonal centerpiece or table decoration because one commenter said the Christmas centerpiece was a "perfect gift" for a November birthday and was cheaper than what they previously paid on Woot.
Kiddeokee zygomatic
People shopping for the Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree who want to catch a recurring low price because a commenter saw the same $39.97 price weeks earlier and called it a great deal.
impasse
Costco members searching for LEGO in the warehouse inventory who want a faster way to locate listings because commenters said you can use the item number and also type "LEGO" in the description field to find results.

Costco shoppers who rely on the app's "In Stock" indicator to plan a trip because multiple commenters reported the stock-checker was unreliable-showing items as in stock when they couldn't be found or when none were actually left.

Buyers who want guaranteed savings on every Costco deal because one commenter said Costco deals can be "hit-or-miss" and they "never succeed" with those types of deals.
Kiddeokee
People who need the exact shelf price to match what the app shows because one commenter reported the app showed $49.97 for a centerpiece but it wasn't signed at that price.
zygomatic
Shoppers who are only interested in the specific LEGO/centerpiece quantities shown online because commenters noted the app showed the centerpiece as in stock even though it wasn't, while other items were available.

The Costco app can show warehouse pricing for LEGO items after selecting a specific warehouse.

The Christmas table centerpiece has been purchased at the listed in-warehouse price and worked well as a birthday gift.
Kiddeokee Wilburjoe
The warehouse inventory search supports using the Costco item number and typing LEGO in the description field.
MagentaFruit531
A $22 Ibotta rebate was available alongside a purchased centerpiece, which can improve the effective cost.

The Costco app's stock checker can show items as in stock even when none are actually left.

The Japanese bonsai and botanical sets may not be clearance everywhere, so pricing can vary over time at different visits.

Warehouse availability for these Costco deals can be hit-or-miss, even when the app indicates availability.
Kiddeokee single_flyer
The app can display a higher centerpiece price than what the store signage reflects at pickup time.

Common Questions (4)

Use the Costco app's warehouse function, select a specific warehouse, and search by LEGO or the item number 1917027. The app can show warehouse pricing and stock, but the stock indicator may be inaccurate, so it is best used for price checks and as a rough availability guide.
un_plug dandiego MagentaFruit531 hibiki
No. The app can show "In Stock" even when the item is already gone, and a system count of one can still mean there is nothing left on the shelf. It is useful for pricing, but not dependable for confirming actual inventory.
un_plug single_flyer dandiego
Availability varies by warehouse, but some stores had plenty of the other LEGO sets while the centerpiece was missing despite the app showing stock. Other locations reported lots of Bonsai trees and Botanicals sets on hand, suggesting these can still be found in-store at some clubs.
un_plug Cagny single_flyer
The Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree was seen at $39.97, and the Christmas Table Decoration/centerpiece was seen at $49.97 in the Costco app. The centerpiece also had a reported $22 Ibotta rebate, which can make the effective price much lower.

And I thought getting the Flower Arrangement at $60 was a deal a few months ago.

Found a store near me that said "In Stock" (not even "Low stock") on the app. Got there and couldn't find them. Asked up front and an employee looked it up. She said their system said one in stock which means there actually aren't any left.

Picked up a centerpiece today. Costco app said $49.97, though they weren't signed as such. I also had a $22 ibotta rebate.

How did you do an ibotta rebate with Costco? I thought that only worked with Best Buy, bought directly through Best Buy, etc.
