EDIT: it now depends on the age of the band's size designation label, since the 42 mm name got reused from the large case tier to the small. https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWat...46mm

The trail loop is superior even though it doesn't have the same precision of dialing in the snugness and the loop.
The "silicone" one side bands are hot garbage too and stretch out and will not last more than a couple months. The hook and loop on my old AW7 was much more durable than this iteration.
