Works well. Used to insulate the bottom of my stainless sink (from under the cabinet) so it's not as loud when washing dishes.

This is more for reducing vibration and not really absorbing sound. So this is not what you want for that.

You want acoustic panels for that

It's dampening the ringing that thinner metal has. It would be similar to putting this on cymbals.A thicker sink, like porcelain isn't going to reverberate because of how thick it is.

You need the MC Hammer to rap your AC. If there is a problem, I hear Vanilla Ice can solve it.

Used this stuff in the trunk of my roadster to quiet the cabin noise after I added an exhaust. Wouldn't say it decreased the decibels but it definitely helped with the droning.

Interesting, not sure what to do with it though...
(Car Sound Deadening Mat)

It appears this may be used for in-ground pool cleaning or maybe beginner pottery making.

I've used products like it in cars and other places where I want to stop vibrations. Adding this to the underside of a box store brand sink will help a lot, as it adds mass and prevents vibrations. It will feel much more solid

I have an expensive 32" full sink and it's heavy and solid. This product should help in getting yours to feel more premium.

Y'all are really soundproofing your kitchen sinks? That's fascinating. Never in a million years would I have thought to do such a thing.

I don't know why I find myself wanting to do it now...
