Watched this again recently and was surprised at how funny it still is. I was expecting it to not hold up but John Candy is so perfect in this role.

I remember watching Uncle Buck as a kid thinking, this guy needs to get his life together. Then I watched it again recently and thought, he's doing okay for himself and it wouldn't be too bad to be in his shoes some days. Adult life is tough.
