I did little bit of research and then came to a conclusion this deal is just ok

It is cheap for 10 bags but the max is 50 lb vs 55 lb IKEA on this thread
and the review says this not so thick compare to the reusable grocery bag.

Polyester vs Polypropylene?
might not be an issue

So, even this say heavy duty, consider this is more be for internal in home use only (mainly cloths, light weight plastic toys) not for
repeating heavy duty moving.

If you are looking for real Heavy Duty bag slick deal, it might be this one below
https://www.amazon.com/Comfortabl...r=1-5&th=1
On sale for $4/each for 6 and have great reviews with more than 7k reviews.

Cheaper than IKEA yet, stronger and heavy duty with stronger handle than IKEA with 2 zipper handles that go down to the both sides.

Make sure you stress test these before using them. Bought 3 different brands for moving, one brand ripped almost immediately at the seams on all the bags with only a small amount of weight introduced

This has zipper in middle, and if you prefer one that goes around the top edge, then there are these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CLWCT...e_0_0&th=1 which were selling 4 for $12 a month back. Don't know if they're any stronger than these, but so far has held up for what I need.

If I wanted to use 1-2 of these for ski gear for a road trip, would they be waterproof enough for the roof rack?

I bought 15 of those similarly designed HarborFreight red bags for $15 earlier this year to use for moving too, and they worked great. I tried to pack them with blankets and lighter stuff but some had heavier boxes that totalled around 40 pounds per bag. They are very strong and the straps can carry over 40 pounds of weight if the weight is evenly distributed. I did rip 1 strap/handle because I pulled on 1 handle sideways without the other handle and the strap ripped away from the bag but that was my fault. The other 14 have survived a year of usage including regularly using them to transport 4x 1 gallon jugs of water per bag which is just over 33 pounds of weight per bag with no problem. I'd assume these bags are similar design so they should be able to handle a lot of weight as long as you evenly distribute the weight inside, only pull straight up on the handles, and use both handles evenly.

I would strongly recommend looking into the IKEA Frakta bag as well. It's a little more expensive, but they're very durable and have similar dimensions.
this is the biggest life hack ever, especially for travel

Besides not having the zipper, they are definitely smaller as well. Just to note.

I just used trash bags back in my college moving days. They're also reusable.
now you need heavy duty trash bags, normal ones too thin. Menards has them or walmart for ok quality thicker ones. They don't stack well to best use moving truck space but they do go in between things like chair legs good.

I'm interested in using this type of bag on future moves, for clothes, but I'm willing to pay more for the best quality. I want them to last. Does anyone have an opinion on who makes the best? The Ikea bags look OK, but I think I want it even more durable than that, if it exists.
For just clothes? Decent trash bags will do the trick. Plus you can use them after in your new spot.

I used these types of bags to move heavier items. Ikea is probably the best.

Repped. The bags in your link look much better. I got the 12 pack for $42 with S&S. About $3.50 a bag. The bags in this deal only have 41 reviews, and most of them are from Amazon VINES people who got them for free.

could definitely use bigger bags, like double the size.
