About this Product:
Rated 5 out of 5 stars at Home Depot for both versions
This power hub is mainly useful for cleaning up outdoor holiday and inflatable setups, with the outlet flaps helping keep pests out of the ground hole. It has handled multiple inflatables, an LED spotlight, and other decorations without issue, and the lifetime warranty stands out versus the HDX version's one year coverage. The main cautions are to avoid overloading it, especially with heavy cords or a washing machine on a shared circuit, and one setup has started tripping a GFCI after about a year. A handy organizer for outdoor power runs if the load stays modest.
Homeowners decorating outdoor holiday displays, because the outlet hub keeps multiple light strings and inflatables organized.
Yes, it is used for outdoor holiday displays and multiple inflatables, with the outlet flaps helping keep pests out of the ground hole. It can handle several decorations at once, but heavy cords should be watched closely.
Only if the washer is on a standard 15A/120V circuit and nothing else on the hub pushes the load too high. A washer is ideally on its own circuit because sharing can cause under-voltage that may damage motors or electronics.
Yes. A Commercial Electric 3-outlet power hub was linked for about $1 less with free shipping, and some users prefer it because they already use similar splitters successfully.
Yes. The Husky version has a lifetime warranty, while the HDX version is covered for 1 year. That warranty gap is the main practical difference mentioned beyond the brand name.
I have the HDX version of this that is always this price. Looking at the Specs, I really don't see a difference other than the brand. While this might not be a "deal", these are definitely nice to have. I use it in my holiday displays outside and it's made things a lot easier to organize. Recommend!

Does your washing machine run on a standard 15 amp 120v circuit? Then the answer is maybe depending on how much other stuff you plan on plugging into it.
Depends what you are plugging in with it. Washer should be on its own circuit. Under voltage can also damage electronics and motors, so sharing the circuit isn't recommended.

I have this one for a little under a year to power some inflatables, and it's been tripping my gfci. I have a beefier one from Amazon that hasn't, so I'm wondering which one is actually more safe.

Interesting. I have at least 6 inflatables, a LED spotlight, and another deer all flowing through this device. No issues so far, fingers crossed! 😂
I have a ton of those $4 3-outler commercial electric splitters in use currently. All working great. Price diff wouldn't seem to justify the swap from PVC to ABS, but that's just me.
