I swapped out all my Arlo cameras with Eufy. Arlo increased the prescription prices for these camera from a reasonable $80 a year in 2023, to a unreasonable $40 a month in 2024.
Do not buy their camera unless $500 every year just to use something you can pretty much get free with many other brands.

Got rid of my expensive garbage arlo cameras 5+ years ago. Total waste of money. I wanna say I spent $300+ for 3 cameras. They constantly disconnected and they missed recording my garage getting robbed. Only camera that caught anything was my cheap gen one wyze. You needed a subscription for everything. Battery life was abismal.
I exclusively run all Wyze cams and have only had one wyze v2 go bad in 5 years. They record 99% of the time and have sd card backup. I overlap multiple cameras in my zones just in case anything goes out. (Sd cards can go bad)
TP-Link (Tapo) look like they're worth checking out as well! I've considered switching but I'm happy enough with my Wyze cams.

I have tp link Tapos, they've worked great. Once you fine tune them to your needs, they work wonderful. From time to time, they have deals. You don't need to purchase their latest models. Their old models work great towards my needs.

Good to know! Yeah these Wyze cams keep working and they have a nice, affordable product line for other household products. But if anything start crapping out or the user interface goes to crap, I'll definitely make the switch!

Do you need to take a pill with their prescription?

You forgot to mention the migraine that comes complementary with trying to get ahold of any living person with Arlo to cancel said subscription.. I tell people before going with Arlo... Do this one simple test very very simple... Try to get anyone at Arlo on the phone .. Call every possible number available if need be .. I was not able to .. I was starting to think they were a defunct company that now scams people via subscription and then not able to cancel. Had to pursue canceling them through my credit card company.
And I completely agree... I now have 16 cameras with Eufy and could not be any happier.
