This is all around better quality peanut butter than your 99 cent one from shoprite.

In for 2. I hope they don't send the one made with sugar and palm oil or they will be refunding me.

MaraNatha ain't what it used to be. After using another brand for years we bought two jars of this exact product a few months ago because it was on sale. It was very, very oily; there was a thick layer of oil on the top which struck me as wrong. But I stirred it until it was blended with the solid mass. The result was a very thin peanut butter which we ended up discarding. The second jar I poured out most of the oil, then mixed it. The result was better but not great, and short an ounce or three due to the discarded oil. Never again.

I'll second the people who said this is not what it used to be. It was sooooo good some 10 years ago, then the company got bought out and the quality has been down significantly since.
oil separation is natural, you get that with Adams peanut butter and others that don't have sugars or other oils. So I don't mind that part. It's the flavor and consistency which went downhill unfortunately.

There are photo reviews of the PB that have a different ingredient label (the reviews note inclusion of palm oil and cane sugar). Not sure if that changed, but that was enough for me not to order this. That's pretty wild if they have different ingredients than what's advertised in the product photos....

We've had good luck with both Crazy Richard's 100% and Teddy's, but that's mostly just what's available near us.

At $3.81, it's a steal. But factor in the cost of the paper towels you'll need when the oil inevitably splashes onto your shirt

Costco's is slightly cheaper at .21/oz vs .23/oz. And that's for the Costco normal price.
I can't speak about quality, I have never bought this one.
