Bose QuietComfort wireless noise cancelling headphones are showing up as a strong open box deal, with some units shipping and arriving in excellent condition. The sound and noise cancelling are praised as a big step up from AirPods, and the green color can be hard to find elsewhere. The main caveat is open box inconsistency, with orders sometimes cancelled, some units arriving paired to another device, and earpads occasionally looking swapped or loose. The price has also bounced around, including a recent low of $92.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. The open-box price was $92 last week, and the current $102.99 listing is about $10 higher, though it is still being treated as a strong deal.

  • Yes. Some orders were cancelled within minutes after placement, and at least one cancellation was only visible in order history with no email notification.

  • Some units arrive in excellent condition with no issues, but others can come paired to another device and may have loose or aftermarket earpads. The headphones can be cleared in the app, but the pads may need replacement.

  • Yes, some orders do ship successfully after checkout. One order placed for about $102 shipped, and another unit was delivered while a second was still pending.

  • Yes. Green was harder to find in some areas, while pink was close to $100 and other colors were priced higher; color availability can change what you see for the deal.

I received mine. The headsets were paired to someone's devices which I was able to clear in the app. However, the earpads were almost detached. I have an original pair in white and I can tell that the earpads on this open box are subpar quality and most likely an aftermarket swap performed by a BB person.
The original earpads feel more cushy and supple. I guess that is how they refreshed these headphones.
For $93, I'm keeping these and will order new Silicone pads for myself (will last longer).
Just letting others know to not expect the original earpads.
That's unfortunate, I would report that to Best Buy to see if they could provide a partial refund for the inconvenience? Whoever inspected them didn't do their job right!! The 2 I have received were in excellent condition. No issues at all!

When you paired them to your phone app, did you see someone's old devices in the list?
I think my case is now too late to claim any refund. No biggie. It is just a first world problem.
