There is 75-85 version which you can use. That's for $74

I have the older version. Is the fish eye correction feature worth an upgrade?

A bit confused, what does this product do aside from the backlight?

It color matches the backlight rgb colors based on the content the camera sees. Supposed to make it more immersive.

I have the older version (#2) and it stopped working correctly within 6 months of installation. Reached out to get a repair/ replacement and they made me jump through hoops.

"Backlite 3 lite" what does 'lite' in this context mean?

I tried the T3 lite and the T3 pro. hated the T3 lite, colors were inaccurate and not always in sync. I think its bc it has just one camera so its hard to accurately pick up everything. The t3 pro on the other hand has been awesome (has 3 cameras so calibration was a breeze). Id say if you're on a budget and just want a backlight get the lite, it's still a pretty fun upgrade for movies/gaming. But if you're picky about accuracy etc spend more and get the pro

So more colorfully immersive, yet the E.T. finger on top is more distracting?!

I believe there is a more expensive Backlite 3 Pro version.

Anyone tried one of these with a Samsung OLED? Im asking because the TVs are about as thin as a standard Amazon cardboard box and bend very easily.

I'm interested in something like this for games, but am afraid the camera weight, negligible as it is, will bend the screen.

Can these be used without the Govee App? Can it be used standalone?

Please just order a TV backlight kit from Aliexpress that costs less than this and uses HDMI directly instead of a dumb camera.
