Either you bring out your time machine for everyone to use or wait until the $7/unit comes back; otherwise, like the other commenter said...it's a good deal if you need it now.

Not a good deal, at $8/unit when 11 days ago they were $7/unit at Home Depot and Lowe's.

'Time machine'

If you didn't buy them on sale last week, that means you didn't need them. You can wait 2 weeks when storage is on sale post Christmas, like it is every year

By that logic everything is a good deal because it is right now. Slick dealers look at history of pricing, not just what it is in the moment. This is a item that goes on sale all the time so it will go back down again. Criticism towards someone that talks about price history of an item is toxic. We all hear to for slick deals not normal deals.
This is the correct take. No one should be criticized for talking about how a deal compares to prior deals.

The HP $100 tablet fire sale in 2011 was popular not only because it was the lowest price, but also because tablets had never been priced anywhere close to that at the time.

When I got a sub $200 laptop in 2019, I knew it was a steal because there had never been a new laptop with similar specs priced like that (14" 1080p IPS, 2.5lbs, metal construction, ryzen etc).

When I saw a post last year for a 49" 5120x1440 Samsung OLED monitor for $500, I did a quick search to see what prior sales prices were, saw that it was much cheaper than ever before, and jumped on it.

A post with price history adds value. A trite post about time machines does not.

Anyone directly compare these to the Costco Green Made ones? Are they the same/same quality?

and once again this is the lowest price right now... so tell me how its not a good deal.. by YOUR logic if something is usually 10 bucks.... and it WAS on sale for 5 bucks 6 months ago.and NOW its 6 bucks... thats not a good deal right ? hate to break it to you... but right at this moment its a good deal ... find it cheaper somewhere else right now if its not a good deal RIGHT NOW.... but honestly... if someone needs them RIGHT NOW,..... then this a good deal compared to every place else.... is it the best deal ever... nope ... didnt know we only post best deals ever.
Agreed and I see it all the time where the person who is gripping about the $1 more for the storage tote, then stops off at Starbucks on the way there and spends $8 bucks on a coffee! SMH! It's $6 bucks more! lol. Come on people!

Bruh, you can literally say that a few years ago and say these were $5 a piece. By the end of the day, if you missed out on the $7 sale, $8 is not bad at all.
