The best pillow I found, which I have used for over 6 months which has to be a record for me, is the coop orginal pillow (not the new memory ones, the orginal with the cross cut) . Usally pillows flatten or have less support over time. This pillow is the same as the day I got it. The orginal go for $50 on ebay new which I thought was expensive since I worried it was too similar to the my pillow concept, but it has been the best pillow I have owned. Best pillow for my neck by far.
I have this casper pillow, I didnt like it, my husband thought it was okay, but it is dry clean only. I was very disappointed in their customer service. I went to look up if there was any way to clean these without dry cleaning and several posts by users said contact customer service. My husband paid $30 for the pillow, so I thought I would do an online chat and ask. The person came on all nice and then found out it was the essential pillow and got super rude and said just throw it out and buy a new one. They said I should have bought the expensive one and the essential pillows are now disposable. They called me cheap. My husband paid $30 which I don't think it that cheap for a pillow (and the CS had the record since they verfied my purchase via amazon).

The Casper Essential Pillow comes across as a soft, plush standard pillow that can work well for side and back sleepers, with enough support to keep necks aligned and a feel that stays firmer longer than some cheap pillows. It is also described as a decent value at the $9 price, especially compared with the original Casper pillows. The main drawbacks are that it is dry clean only, has no removable cover, and can get lumpy or feel too thick for some sleepers. The outer shell is also reported to be loud and plastic like, so it is a better fit if you want a simple, affordable pillow and do not mind extra care.
Common Questions (5)
It is generally described as soft but supportive, with adequate neck alignment for some sleepers. Others found it too thick at first or only average for neck issues, and it may need a break-in period or nightly fluffing.
Yes. The tag and Casper customer service both indicate the Essential pillow is dry clean only, and spot cleaning reportedly does not work well. That makes it a poor choice if you want a pillow that can be washed at home.
At $9, it is widely seen as a solid value for a Casper-branded pillow, especially compared with the original Casper pillows around $50. The main caveat is that it is not a premium pillow and may not suit picky neck-support needs.
No, this Essential pillow does not have a removable cover. It comes as a normal pillow in a box, while higher-end Casper pillows may include a cover.
It is not poly fill, foam, or a down-alternative style fill. The comments indicate the cotton is the shell, not the inside fill.

they are soft and get lumpy over time much like down pillows without the heat and the stabbing in your face of the feathers.
