That's also a very good deal, but the xc6.0 batteries are not as good as the HO XC5.0 batteries.

Sort of irrelevant as I understand. As long as there is a serial number, Milwaukee will honor the warranty based on the production date.Tools r us, looks like a reseller in my opinion. Legit stock, but they probably obtain it from finding deals and selling items separately.

They'll honor it assuming you get a real one.

Another problem is you don't know how long it's been sitting for, if it's already a year old then that means you lost a year of warranty.

That is correct.I ordered and it will be here Friday. I can run the serial number through Milwaukee's website. If battery is not legit or warranty already expired, I will return it. Will also report back what I receive.Low risk in my opinion. I wanted a HO 5.0 battery and this is cheapest I have found without having to get it packaged with tools or hacks.
