Note: This is the 8gb Ram / 128gb Storage version that just dropped to $259, normally $399. Be sure to choose the first one (8gb/128gb) not the second inferior one (4gb/64gb) which is oddly more expensive ($299.)

Community Reviews
The Chromebook Duet Gen 9 stands out as a fast, lightweight Chrome OS tablet for browsing, Android apps, schoolwork, and secondary use. The 8GB memory version is the better configuration, and the bundle includes a Lenovo USI 2.0 pen. It also gets praise for a brighter display, stronger front camera, louder volume, and a more solid keyboard than expected. The main limits are its floppy tablet hinge and angled stand, plus USB C display output is capped at one external monitor at a time. Long Chrome OS support through June 2034 adds to its appeal.
kids K-12 and students who want a secondary device for web work because commenters say it's a good deal for kids K-12 and a practical Chromebook for browsing and school-style tasks.
people using it as a convertible for browsing plus Android apps because one commenter says they love Chromebooks for doing a lot of browsing, using Android apps, and even using it for phone texting as a secondary device instead of the phone.
buyers who specifically want long software support for a Chrome OS tablet because a commenter points to an AUE date of June 2034 and says the extended Chrome OS support plus Android app support makes it a superior value versus Android tablets.
office users who need a snappy keyboard-and-typing experience in a small 11-inch convertible because one owner says the keyboard is more solid than expected and the device is pretty snappy.
office users who rely on multi-monitor setups because commenters note the chipset is limited to only one external monitor at a time via USB-C (up to 2560x1440 around 60Hz), and you can't run two 2K monitors.
people who need high-refresh external display performance because commenters say you could do one 4K monitor but only at about 30Hz, which may not meet expectations for smoother external viewing.
buyers specifically shopping for Chromebook Plus compatibility because a commenter says only the Mediatek Kompanio Ultra U910 is confirmed Chromebook Plus compatible, and they also think the webcam likely doesn't meet Chromebook Plus requirements.
people who want a rigid, laptop-style hinge for lap use because one commenter dislikes the floppiness and says they miss a rigid hinge that helps when using it on your lap.

For use in an office, note the chipset is limited to (1) external monitor at a time from either of the Usb-C ports at a max of 2560 x 1440 at around 60Hz.

The extended software support timelines for Chrome OS along with their support for Android applications has fundamentally disrupted the Android tablet space. I'd suggest that a Chrome OS tablet like this Duet is a superior value proposition for any potential buyer of an Android tablet.
Good luck!

Is this considered a Chromebook plus for the added AI perks? I see that near the bottom of the page but I don't think this qualifies?

Great callout. I hopped on that deal as a backup device for traveling.
