I don't think you can adopt these and use them like their typical APs.I think they are more for people who don't have their stuff.

Correct, these are not part of the Unifi capable ecosystem. I wouldn't grab one unless you're willing to administer it standalone.

It won't be. You need airMAX CPE.

This thing is from 2017. It's not worth the price, especially for the open box.
