Lowes is discontiuing Amex card

I noticed over the last 3 months that my Lowes Amex card is not getting any offers. I just got off the phone with CSR who stated Lowes is transitioning to another vendor in April.
Not sure why Amex is not communicating this to its customers, versus having to call and ask what is going on. Now I need to find another free Amex card .

In my experience, just as well as Lowes has the absolute worst customer service both in store and online imo. Their in store people don't even bother to pick up the phone and their online\chat is manned by people that will refuse to do anything about a missing\wrong delivery and just refer you back to the store which you never can get through to and which never calls you after filing a case in a timely fashion, but to each his own.
Amex Blue Cash is free and gives 3% on groceries and internet purchases in general.
