Seems like really good specs for the price - has all the right ports, processor and RAM have so headroom for growth, portable & light - I'm outside of my return window for the Acer Vivobook S14 Ultra 7 258V/Arc GPU/32GB/1TB - Asus locks the Bios which is frustrating - I paid $699 refurb for it

For sure, there's alwasys a better deal, especuially when it comes to tech, but I'm happy with the Asus and decided to stay with it - especially with the extra RAM and better screen

The 155 is a stronger CPU than the 258V but the 140V GPU in the Asus is better and it's also more optimized for portablility and efficiency overall (which is what we're going after in 14" laptops") - here's the link to eBay if you're interested [ebay.com]

Ebay listing says Wifi 6E (not 7). Acer website with the model number says "AC adapter with power cord" but I see no port for it. I assumed it was USB-C power delivery. Can anyone confirm?

Got this one for my kid a few weeks ago and gave it a quick test, Installed a few games and they work fine (rocket league, warzone)

The refurb came in a generic box with AC adapter and a few dings on the laptops here and there since it's mostly aluminum

Well, dammit. I bought the Asus Zenbook 14S $899 Best Buy deal (+ the $200 paypal cashback deal). Even after cash back this deal is still 300 cheaper. Yeah the Asus is superior in every way... but $300 better? I could have lived with this. But I'm outside the return window now.

Anyone on the fence should jump on this.

A while back I bought a refurb Acer Nitro and it was solid. As long as they are coming directly from Acer anyway.

Here's a fairly thorough review of this exact configuration. The screen brightness was deemed excellent and overall performance very solid. Terrible speakers and annoying fan noise the two major drawbacks.
