I love seeing Call of Duty fail. There hasn't been a good one in so many years.

6 being "far better" is just sad. Call of Duty has been a joke for years.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is being treated as a thin yearly update that plays a lot like Black Ops 6, with vertical movement, familiar maps, and a heavy focus on online multiplayer. The SteelBook bundle stands out mainly for the collectible case, since similar listings are around $35 without it. The biggest knocks are the huge install size, broken local split screen, no campaign checkpoints, and a campaign that feels online only. The price also looks high for a game that is already dropping fast, making this a better fit only if the SteelBook matters to you.

  • Players who want a familiar yearly shooter, because the multiplayer feels like a continuation of the previous entry with vertical movement and similar maps.

    FragsterDeathAnghell

  • Series fans who only want a short-term multiplayer fix, because the release window is brief before the next version arrives.

    Stynkfysh2DeathAnghell

  • Campaign fans who want classic maps in the package, because the older maps are the main thing that keeps the game from feeling stale.

    Fragster

  • Buyers expecting a polished, fully featured release, because the game can feel broken, with split-screen failing and the developer apologizing for poor performance.

    FabulousCaribou1673Kraken09Kraken09

  • Solo campaign players who need checkpoints and pause options, because local campaign progress can be lost and checkpoints cannot be saved.

    FabulousCaribou1673extremetm

  • Players who want a fresh, standout Call of Duty, because this entry is described as stale and too similar to the previous game.

    FragsterAmko77

  • Players with limited storage on their console or PC, because the install can take around 320 GB.

This game is trash please do not buy unless you get it for free with game pass. At least wait for it to be like 20 because this is the fastest a COD game has ever gone down in price. If you look and mm2 and mm3 they are still 30 dollars digitally on the store. Just a warning before buy

Buy Arc Raiders ! An amazing game with new dynamics to multiplayer. Every time I launch into this game it's so deep and satisfying. It so bad I dream the freaking game. 🤷 ♂️😅. I'd suggest playing in a squad at first to learn the game. Visuals on PS5Pro are a treat at only $39

This game is doing pretty bad. So much so that they apologized and are offering a free week of play next week. I wouldn't buy until you can fully try it. I am personally staying away from it. It's time they learn their lesson with all the real-time game manipulation and sbmm/eomm that poisons this game.

So being the most played game on xbox and Playstation is a failure?

As a microsoft/Xbox fan. Let this game die already. It's the only way they will learn. T
Played this game for 2 matches. Couldn't play it anymore. It's pure garbage.
Same thing here. My son played a few matches and called it quits. LOL
I'm glad I did not buy it.

I thought about this for a second for the campaign, but glad I checked the reviews. I'll stick with BF6.

This is the worst performing game they have made. Devs don't apologize because the game is doing great. https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2...m-the-team

The worst performing Call Of Duty is still played more than any other game. For any other game, Black Ops 7 would be a wild success
