Why not? Just this brand or this type of shelf in general. I got Trinity brand from Costco that makes similar looking shelves recently...do they have same problem for holding weight?

Pass no thankz. Shelves have a lip so you can't load anything over hanging the edge without going over that lip

The one from costco may be slightly better but not by much. This style claims to hold 220lbs per shelf and the real world experience people have is significantly different. You can usually get approx. 50-75lbs per shelf before the shelves start to bow.
For anything heavy, gorilla rack or safe rack style

These are the ones that are made with a tray type shelf with the edge that is raised up an inch or so around. These are a pain if you are putting anything bigger like a container or something on them because then they can't sit flat. It's fine for smaller stuff you don't want to fall or roll off the edge.

flip them so tray is underneath
