I've owned every variation of the Pros and the 3s are by far the best yet. The sound is not THAT different from the 2s but the noise cancellation and in-ear fit is appreciably better plus you get the heart rate sensor and foreign language translation features.

I have pro 2s and they don't stay in my ears unless i'm just sitting still. They are awful for wearing while working out. i've tried a couple of the attachments to hook around your ears or the ones with hooks that go inside your ear. those work ok, but it's just something else to have to put on and off every time i want to use these. i've heard the pro 3s are supposed to stay in better without needing to use any additional pieces. i'd gladly give up a little on sound quality just to make the damn things stay in my ears.
On another note - got these from Amazon at 220+34 for AC+ (I had 3$ no rush) -
lets say I want to return and repurchase from walmart/ bb - would the AC+ be easy to get refunded? or I would have to go through apple?
ultimately I got 8% cash back on my prime card so I am not sure its worth the hassle for a few dollars but thats why we're SD'ers. 😁

OP probably doesn't care for the more lively bass heavier (not heavy) tuning compared to the 2s. I love the sound of the 3s, but sound is largely personal which is why so many headphones and buds come with equalizers.
