Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
I'm packing up my Target bought AirPods right now. It's a shame Target ditched their PM policy to other stores. Such a waste. But saving $20 is saving $20.
OP probably doesn't care for the more lively bass heavier (not heavy) tuning compared to the 2s. I love the sound of the 3s, but sound is largely personal which is why so many headphones and buds come with equalizers.
I've owned every variation of the Pros and the 3s are by far the best yet. The sound is not THAT different from the 2s but the noise cancellation and in-ear fit is appreciably better plus you get the heart rate sensor and foreign language translation features.
My Pro 2's stay in perfectly after switching to Sonicfoam tips from Amazon. There's just enough added grip from the foam that they stay in place even after the memory foam's resiliency has mostly gone away.

Pros 2 sound a lot better. These are a major step backwards in terms of sound quality.
Am I crazy to keep the 4s with noise canceling. Everyone keeps saying 2 sounds better and then 3 and people like the 4s compared to the 2s. In other words Pro 2 and AirPods 4 with ANC appear to be the favorites.
thanks for the tip. do you use any of the 3rd party hooks or just the oem earbud tips? i'm a cyclist, so the problem for me is that if my helmet straps even graze against the external part, it moves the airpods just enough to make them loose. i had similar issues with some jabra 85t earbuds a few years ago. they had oval shaped earbud tips (similar to the airpod pro 2s) instead of round like most earbuds.
For cycling, I sweated through and dropped the airpods riding too many times. I got the Beats Fit Pro just for exercise. It's much more secure in the ear and still has Siri capabilities.

i had been holding out for the powerbeats pro 2, but then they didn't include features like "conversation awareness", which i never needed/wanted before, but really comes in handy for the random times that you talk to someone while on a ride.
I bought the AirPod Pro 2 deal @ 139 from Walmart on Black Friday and they cancelled my order for no reason. They said it was due to a "delay" and they were unable to fulfill while continuing to offer them at the non sales price. I didn't request cancellation as I was fine waiting. Customer service would not price match on a new order. This is all while being a Walmart+ subscriber. Trash company! I suggest trying to price match at Best Buy. Walmart might not deliver.
The deal is fine but watch out for Walmart delivery thieves. I received cardboard pieces for the iPods Pro 2 order and Walmart refused to do anything. I have Ring video to prove no one messed with the package except the delivery guy dropped off and I picked up.
Bought my wife the AirPod Pro 2, but then read so many issues about 'fit'. I have never had an issue with my APP1 but don't want her to have a problem with the 2, so I just spent an extra $60 to get these new AirPod Pro 3s. Thanks OP! I will return the unopened 2s
