The IronWolf Pro 14TB stands out as a strong value for NAS storage, with a much better price per terabyte than smaller drives and a steep discount for an enterprise class HDD. It is also described as very quiet in some setups, even quieter than WD Ultrastar drives, and the helium filled model is listed at 20 to 26 dB. The main hesitation is noise and compatibility concerns, since other IronWolf Pro drives have been heard clunking loudly and the model is not on one Ugreen compatibility list. It is a solid capacity play if quiet operation and backup planning matter.
The 14TB IronWolf Pro deal offers a notably better price per TB than a 4TB alternative.
The 14TB IronWolf Pro is reportedly very quiet in real NAS setups, including under a living room TV.
The 14TB IronWolf Pro is reportedly extremely quiet compared with WD Ultrastar DC HC530s in a RAID pool.
The deal can fit NAS expansion plans because a better enterprise HDD discount may not appear soon.
The 14TB model may be harder to justify because it is not listed on Ugreen's compatibility list.
The Seagate IronWolf Pro line can be very loud in some NAS builds, with clunking heard 24/7.
The Seagate IronWolf Pro 14TB may require buying a second drive for backup to protect stored data.
Noise expectations can drive returns, since WD Red Plus drives are expected to be quieter than Seagate NAS drives.

I see the post says "Our links may go to a product variant that is out of stock or not included in this deal. Please use the available sorting options on the product page to select the available items on sale." But I haven't been able to figure out how to get this deal.
Also, not sure why this is marked as "expired". Still showing in stock for me and I can still add to cart.

BH has a Pro 10 tb version with a same price tag.

Inspite of better SG warranty, just because the SG drives are louder than WD drives, I plan to return SG pro 14 tb and order WD red plus 12 tb for my home nas.
