I own several high speed Traxxas RCs, I can tell you more metal just makes crashes more catastrophic as the shock is transferred to more and more parts that bend and warp rather than a clean break in 1 spot. As first commentor mentioned though, nothing will be replaceable in this anyways, so it's a moot point.

This is a UDI chassis and likely uses UDI parts. Not sure if that would make finding parts easier or not https://udirc.com/collections/rc-parts

I wasn't disappointed. Just jumped it off my deck into my snow filled yard. As long as I didn't stop, it ripped through the snow. Can't speak on longevity but I'm letting it dry now. Already had $60 bucks worth of fun

Community Reviews

This is a fast brushless 1 16 off road truck that feels like a real hobby RC and is best for backyard bashing. It is praised for strong speed, adjustable power levels, and solid fun on concrete, asphalt, grass, snow, and leaf piles, with some runs lasting well over an hour on low power. The main concern is durability at 40 plus mph, since crashes can break parts and replacement support may be hard to find. A few reports also question the advertised top speed and note occasional early failures, so it suits buyers who want excitement and can handle repairs.

RC hobbyists who already tinker and can source parts on AliExpress because multiple commenters said parts are available there and that if something breaks you can repair it or reuse components.
taochaos 1-6 FAL
people looking for a $60-class truck that's "hella fast" for the money because commenters reported it was extremely fast and described it as worth about $60 after real driving on multiple surfaces.
clee1013 I_am_Iceman
yard and camping vacations shoppers who want an "ok" RC car for cheaper because commenters said it fits that need and still delivers fun performance outdoors.
Beniskickbutt
parents who plan to supervise and limit speed for a young child because one commenter said the speed can be adjusted in three levels and suggested capping it around 15-20 MPH to start for a 6-year-old.
Shikster
buyers who want a fast, bashable starter RC before stepping up to brands like Arrma because one commenter said it helped a kid learn quickly, survived multiple higher-speed rollovers/crashes, and was durable enough for the price.
YoYoMa1

a 6-year-old driver who will be using it unsafely or in uncontrolled areas because commenters warned that a 40+ mph RC isn't appropriate for a 6-year-old and can lead to injury or property damage.
DeProof joshuaNH
buyers who want it to work reliably right out of the box because some commenters reported failures like a wheel stopping and a battery not charging, leading to returns.
newarkhiphop newarkhiphop
buyers who need guaranteed long-term support and easy replacement parts because commenters cautioned that no-name brands can be hard to keep running long term and that crashes are likely to break parts.
computermd.ms
people who expect the listing's top speed to be accurate because commenters said the product video doesn't appear to reach 40 mph and that one user guessed it topped out around 6-8 mph.
VaLcRiUs
buyers who plan to drive on concrete without precautions because commenters advised using a milk crate and warned against letting a child drive it on concrete.
jjj444yes

The truck can deliver very fast real-world driving performance across concrete, asphalt, and grass surfaces.
0selfcontrol I_am_Iceman
The speed can be adjusted in three levels, which helps limit initial driving for younger kids.
Shikster
The included 18650 lithium-ion battery packs can be used instead of LiPo packs for safer handling while still providing strong current.
JollyMice2538
The truck can survive multiple higher-speed rollovers and accidental crashes during a learning curve.
YoYoMa1
Fast shipping can reduce the wait time before first use.
spazemouze

The product video and real-world expectations may not match the advertised 40 mph speed claim.
VaLcRiUs mitsured Buckeyefan 1
Replacement parts may be difficult to obtain long-term for this no-name brand, even though some parts may be found on AliExpress.
m3n00b taochaos FAL
Some units can fail quickly, including wheel drive stoppage or battery charging problems after short use.
newarkhiphop newarkhiphop
The truck's high speed can make it unsafe for a 6-year-old and can lead to injury or property damage.
DeProof joshuaNH
The warranty does not cover crashes, which can increase out-of-pocket repair costs after impacts.

Common Questions (5)

The chassis appears to use common UDI-style parts, and similar components are reportedly available on AliExpress and eBay. That said, it is still a no-name truck, so long-term support may be limited if you need exact replacements.
WillW3667 JayTray973 taochaos computermd.ms
It can handle hard use and still be fun, but crashes can break parts, especially at higher speeds. Reported weak points include the body shell and drivetrain wear, so it is best treated as a cheap basher rather than a long-term tank.
0selfcontrol YoYoMa1 cardboardbox computermd.ms
It can plausibly hit 40 mph on 3S, and one video-based clocking reportedly put it close to 50 mph. The included setup is a 2S battery with a Deans T-plug, so speed depends heavily on battery choice and surface; the product video itself looks much slower.
JollyMice2538 Justaguyinvegas VaLcRiUs macadamiaman
At full speed, it is not a good fit for a 6-year-old because 40+ mph can cause crashes, injury, or property damage. The speed can be adjusted in three levels, so limiting it to about 15-20 mph is the practical way to start.
DeProof Shikster joshuaNH PRBRaleigh
The packs are 18650 lithium-ion cells in a plastic case, not LiPo. They are described as safer than LiPos and still able to deliver good current, though not as much as a LiPo setup.

This seems awesome but something that goes 40 mph is going to break when(not if) it crashes and getting parts for this is a probably impossible.

"Full Metal Drive Shaft & Tough Build" wouldn't that shield from breaking?

None of these parts look too different from generic Chinese components readily available on Ali. I'm actually curious how this one compares to the MJX one that community liked a lot and considered a good buy for ~$100. On paper, the specs look very similar and the reviews look positive, too. Any code for their 1:14 cars?

The whole "Chinese parts not available" is not really an issue like it may been in the past. As you stated, Ali and eBay have swappable parts on demand.

In41, If I break it, the components could go into my brushed buggy.

The spare tire on top makes it look dorky.

lets just take a moment to remember the absolute garbage RC stuff that Walmart would sell about 15 years ago. This is leaps ahead of that, and its somewhat reparable.
