I own several high speed Traxxas RCs, I can tell you more metal just makes crashes more catastrophic as the shock is transferred to more and more parts that bend and warp rather than a clean break in 1 spot. As first commentor mentioned though, nothing will be replaceable in this anyways, so it's a moot point.

I wasn't disappointed. Just jumped it off my deck into my snow filled yard. As long as I didn't stop, it ripped through the snow. Can't speak on longevity but I'm letting it dry now. Already had $60 bucks worth of fun

Immediate #1 present this year - even beating out exactly what was repeatedly wished for AND the only thing on the letter to Santa (Bambu A1C combo 3D printer). All other presents were pushed aside. Thanks OP!

Pleased with how quickly the kid learned proper driving techniques with the remote control. And how after every wipeout, they sprinted over to make sure it was okay with a thorough physical inspection before just going again. Like many mentioned, great starter real RC (vs. the toys they've gotten to date) - once trust is earned, an Arrma might be in the picture.

This thing is awesome - speed is nuts and it's surprisingly durable after a few higher speed accidental crashes due to learning curve - into a fence, a brick garden bed, a tree and a lot of rollovers. We already broke off part of the the front of the body (the cheap cover held on by the 4 cotter pins, designed to look like a truck - not the frame or undercarriage), which packing tape fixed. If this were an Arrma or Traxxas of any kind, I'd be crying. But as this is a $60 AUOSHI, we're laughing our arses off at the "Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!" insanity. Anyone know where we can buy the Cybertruck body shown on the box? Will look on Aliexpress.

100% worth the $60! Just 1 batteries worth of charge has already made me happy with the purchase! This thing is awesome on concrete, asphalt, the grass, leaf piles, anywhere! Had my share of "kids" RC cars and none of them deliver like this thing does for the price.

yea I returned it already, I used it for maybe 20 minutes in a completely flat driveway
