Lowest I've seen the game at $39.99. Not to mention it's the USA version as opposed to an International version on Woot!

Is it a performance patch or new content?

If this is a very good game, why is this not getting more popular now as 70 upvotes, given the $40 price point vs $60? No Prime subscription? Cheapskate SDers? Guess I never know

Probably because if it were any company other than Nintendo, it would've dropped to $30 or less by now.

I purchased this game for $32 after tax a year ago. 40 bucks is not even that great of a price.

I believe they were referring to a HSN deal where people were getting a significant new customer discount on games. I tried to get a copy myself at the time, but they were out of stock. Not a cheapskate, but rather a true Slickdealer is what you should be calling them.

Not everybody feels the need to make Nintendo richer with their inflated price games. I'm not biting at $40, but may bite if this game gets down to $30…it's simply budgeting for video games as I see fit. $40 is not a bad price if you've been waiting for a deal on this game.

Don't feed the trolls. If y'all just ignored the commenter in the first place they wouldn't have a reason to revisit and continue to inflame the thread.
