Sales on a new Quest 3 (vs 3s) are rare making this a decent deal.

Been using Quest3 for a year. I'd say 512GB is a must. Even with this size I find myself constantly having to delete games in order to play new ones. Sometimes you'd need that storage space to record video too.

Can memory be expanded?
BTW, what do you use this for ? I have thought of buying many times, but not able to pull the trigger because I am not sure if I will be using it enough.

I'll add that I agree IF you're going to be using it entirely standalone. Many of us use it as a wireless PCVR headset, of which even the base storage is entirely overkill.

They have a referral credit of $60 promo right now for new meta headsets, little trick is you create another account to referral (or use someone else's code if you can't). Both get accounts get 60- if you have the other account you can 'gift' games to your main account with the extra 60.

I agree.

I have the 128gb and while I will always recommend the the Quest 3 over the Quest 3S it is annoying to be constantly downloading and deleting games. For reference I can keep about 1-2 "big games" (Example: Metro Awakening = 19gb) on the device at a time and the rest is basically the required Horizon software and small games that are less than 1gb.
