I have been happy with this watch but mine was paid for with a galaxy watch 7 trade in + store credit. I'm also not a heavy watch user. I check some notifications and prefer a vibrating watch alarm in the morning.

What was wrong with the Watch 7? I'm currently looking at some sub $100 deals for the Watch 7 used.

Nothing inherently, I have a pixel phone and prefer the integration and look/feel. Battery life feels better as well but I hadn't been using the watch 7 for a while. I don't think you will be disappointed by a watch 7, especially not for $100 less than this. An especially if you have a Samsung phone

I'd opt for the Pixel watch, but a little out of my price range, plus I just moved to samsung by ditching Apple.

Had this watch (with LTE) since release, and it's a decent smartwatch. It's trouble-free enough that I don't really think about it much, which is what you want in a good tech device. The only reason I do think about it, and the reason I want to switch, is that I don't like having to charge it every couple days. I'm aiming for a fitness watch that lasts a few weeks or more on a charge, rather than a smartwatch.

Agreed, but even then it's overpriced for what you're getting. The PW4 is still just comparable to a Galaxy Watch 7 and the 7 can be had for around $120. If you're active at all, a Garmin Epix Gen 2 is going to be far better in this price range than a Pixel or Galaxy watch.
