The strike through MSRP is laughable, but this is legitimately good deal, especially for 32gb of ram

It does not. Usually you only see those on Ultrathins

It seems like the version with a one terabyte SSD for 100 bucks more might be worth the upgrade.

$100 for for 512GB extra is a very bad deal and that's why I haven't posted that. This has upgradable SSD and you can get 1TB Gen4 drives around $60-$70 and get to keep the 512GB drive as well.

IMO this is also a nice laptop, but you can also find cert refurb Spectre x360s, with a 4050, on eBay for about $1000 right now. Ports are worse but overall build will be better, 14" vs 16" (although I do think 14" is better for convertibles). The 16" Spectres also come with 1TB SSD. Just an option to consider.

Elitebook has normally better rigidity and build quality than their equivalent Consumer counterparts. Not sure how you concluded that "Spectre has better build".

the coupon code is take $50 off, not $60.
Aslo I think this deal: HP OmniBook X Flip: 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Touch, Ryzen AI 7, 32GB LPDDR5, 1TB SSD $799.99 is much better.

Build quality is a huge difference. Consumer vs business class
