They make 10000 lumen flashlights but expect to pay a lot closer to a hundred bucks and beyond for a true 10000 lumen flashlight. Don't get me wrong, 11 bucks for this light is a great deal. It's just not anywhere near 10000 Lumens, but it doesn't have to be. I'm sure it's plenty bright for most anyone needing a flashlight. With all that being said, for 12 bucks, count me in for 1. Thanks OP.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank WoodSlayR

Unfortunately, Lumen ratings are in the same boat as Wattage ratings for amplifiers and Mah ratings for batteries, meaning there's no governing body that oversees that the ratings are not B.S. These companies are allowed to legally label them anything they want. These 3 industries (flashlights, Amplifiers, and Batteries) are notorious for lying through their teeth.

Same kind of junk you can get off temu or AliExpress.. they can actually be pretty bright, with the battery life usually stinks.

Does anyone know if this flashlight uses an 18650 or a 21700? It doesn't specify anywhere and when I ask Rufus about the type of rechargeable battery it uses it comes up with nothing. I'm guessing it's one or the other. I can't imagine them using something outside of either 1 of them but it would be nice to know.

Thats because the batteries that come with it are probably less than half of their rated capacity. Maybe even less than that. I wish I knew the battery size it takes. I can't find that info anywhere, and asking Rufus comes up with nothing. I'm guessing it's an 18650 or a 21700 but I'd like to know forsure. I have lots of 18650's but regardless, it's so cheap, I bought one anyway. ty OP

It claims a throw of 3280 ft or in other words, 1 kilometer.

I found answers in the Q&A search, but it's still unclear. Some people report 18650, some say it doesn't use that. The most interesting was one review [amazon.com] that said, "flashlight has three different power sources - AAA batteries (alkaline included), a normal-ish 18650 battery with a sizer around it and then an unusually large 6000mah battery that I'm not familiar with (26650?)."

That 6000mah rating doesn't mean much because so many off brand batteries grossly over rate battery capacities. If I had to guess, I'm thinking it's an 18650 only because thats the most common battery size. If it's bigger than that, I'd guess a 21700. I'd be super surprised if they used a 26650. Not impossible but highly unlikely. Those batteries are some serious fat boys and the least common of the 3.
