This rechargeable flashlight is mainly appealing as a very cheap, bright pocket light with a case and a solid feel. The beam is described as decent to very bright, and the build is called dependable and well constructed. The big caveat is the 10,000 lumen claim, which is repeatedly questioned as far above real output. Battery details are also unclear, with conflicting reports about AAA, 18650, 21700, or a larger cell, and battery life is expected to be modest. A low-cost option if the brightness claim is taken loosely.
Campers and emergency-kit buyers wanting a cheap backup light, because it feels well built, holds a charge, and is bright enough for everyday use.
Shoppers who need a pocketable flashlight for routine household tasks, because it is reported to be bright enough without needing true 10,000-lumen output.
The battery setup is unclear and appears to vary by listing or version, with reports of AAA batteries, an 18650 with a spacer, and a larger cell around 6000mAh that may be 21700-sized. The safest assumption is that it uses a common removable lithium cell rather than a fixed, clearly specified pack.
The coupon code has been working for some buyers, but the discount is small and can be finicky at checkout. Reported final prices were around $11.39 plus tax, and one buyer said the code only took off about $1.90.
At this price, it is described as well built, dependable, and brighter than expected, with a case included. The main caveat is battery life: low-cost lights like this may have weak runtime, and some reports say the included battery capacity is likely overstated.
It is widely reported to be much dimmer than the 10,000-lumen claim, with some comparing it unfavorably to 7,000-8,000 lumen lights. It can still be bright enough for everyday use, but the advertised rating appears overstated.
There's a YouTube channel that tests flashlights for both lumens and candela and the results are, to say the least, illuminating. For example, this one starts with a (different) 10000 lumen rated unit
I found answers in the Q&A search, but it's still unclear. Some people report 18650, some say it doesn't use that. The most interesting was one review[amazon.com] that said, "flashlight has three different power sources - AAA batteries (alkaline included), a normal-ish 18650 battery with a sizer around it and then an unusually large 6000mah battery that I'm not familiar with (26650?)."
I have a flashlight that uses a 26650 battery. They're larger
That 6000mah rating doesn't mean much because so many off brand batteries grossly over rate battery capacities. If I had to guess, I'm thinking it's an 18650 only because thats the most common battery size. If it's bigger than that, I'd guess a 21700. I'd be super surprised if they used a 26650. Not impossible but highly unlikely. Those batteries are some serious fat boys and the least common of the 3.
The spacer in the image is not that thick, maybe 18650 to 21700? I have seen some lights that's do both of those with a spacer.
I ordered one of these not too long ago. I keepit in our pantry and peridoically turn it on to check it's holding a charge. It's been very dependable, is well constructed and has a decent beam and brightness, although it is certainly not 10000 lumes. The case is a nice touch. Would make a nice stocking stuffer.

Exactly why I picked up a few - also the code was a little funky at first, but I reloaded or something - checkout then back then checkout again - any way a little fiddlin' made the math come out.

It literally says: "10000 Lumens" in the product page title, created by the seller/manufacturer...and your reply is: "but it doesn't have to be".
With people like you, it's no wonder they pull games like these
