I have the QC II's, the model before these, and I use them all the time. Noise cancelling is good but not as effective on a plane compared to the over the hear Bose headphones. Still take these instead since they take up much less space. They can be noisy in the wind.
2nd gen is 250 thru Bose now.

What makes Bose think they can sell these for msrp 299 when there's so many better alternatives, certainly can't compete with Apple's AirPods

I bought these and sent them back after a day. One side would drop connection to the phone every so often, the phone app wouldn't connect to them reliably, they would distort occasionally, etc... Good ANC, but bad almost all the way around. Amazon reviews, the bad ones, back me up on this. Don't waste your time or money.

had 2 where the charging connector eventually gets pushed in to where its unable to charge...such a silly design flaw for such a expensive earbud.

I have the Bose QC Ultra (2nd edition), and it works great with my Galaxy S25 and Samsung S7+ tab. Also, if you're having a problem, try their app if you haven't already—it might help.
OR It could be something Bose might have improved significantly in 2nd Edition.. 🤔
