Read the specs more carefully. The one you've linked is the 5070 Ti, whereas this has the 5080. World of difference.

I am returning my HX3D/5080 variant of the 7 pro and I just got back from picking up this laptop. The HX3D is more powerful in gaming by a small margin, but I was gettting less than 2 hours of non gaming battery life. I wish it was more efficient. Both laptops were the same price so in terms of budget it was a latereral move. After messing around with this for a few hours, the battery life is much better and the gaming performance difference plugged in is not noticeable without a frame counter.

I dont think any Lenovo deals had the 64gb ram and 2tb storage down to $2k unless you snagged the few refurbished ones they had at that price.
