Wow the BP2000 is an amazing deal, and I just checked- you can remove the C2000 from your cart and check out with the BP2000 @ $399.

Answering my own inquiry.
The built-in minimum storage of a unit must be 3kW to qualify for the tax credit., which is a downer, because this would be a great unit and deal if it DID qualify.

Killer deal on the expansion battery via Anker's site. If you got the BF deal for $679, you're getting a 4k wh system for just under $1200 with tax...I'd say slick!

When combined and hooked up to the expansion battery, yes, it does qualify.

Keep in mind that 9W idle power consumption turned out to be a white lie. Independent testing discovered that it is indeed ~9W, but only with AC output/inverter turned off. Which is not an interesting metric in the slightest. All that while there is another power station of the same size on the market that has about 9.5W idle power consumption with AC inverter actually turned on.

I am not sure why Anker is going that, marketing a feature that is not there.
Maybe it is temporary bug in the firmware to be fixed soon, but I would not count on that.

What's the other PowerStation with the 9.5W idle with the inverter on?

That's on youtube. The Solar Lab channel.

You can also use their code to get another 5% off if you spend a grand. So I reckon the battery add on would sweeten a bit more. Making up for not being around for the black friday deal.

Oh yea. Almost forgot. The Bluetti is the answer to your question. Just know that this is while the device is turned on. So you're really not losing that much in the grand scheme with this Anker. Now to decide on if I want that unneeded battery add on....

edit: Can confirm thesolarlabpd code takes $55.90 off the price.

Bluetti Elite 200 v2. I have two of those now, and both have about 9.5W of idle drain with AC output on, and about 2.6W drain with only DC output on. For some weird reason enabling both AC and DC/USB outputs drains more than just the sum of two values, around 16W.
