If these were their multicolor rolls I'd be all over it.

Basically considered the top tier. Up there with prusament and bambu. So even at > $10/kg it's a solid deal
Not as good as prusament. I'd put it sightly above Bambu.

The question is rather you should pay more for it depends on what you're planning to print.

These are some of my favorite filaments, wish the colors were just basic red/yellow/blue/green combos. Good deal on these, one of the cheaper price points you can get these at. Off chance you have an Anycubic ACE pro, this filament won't work with your AMS, it will drive you crazy for sure.
The only Polymaker filament I struggle with on ACE* pro is the Panchroma Matte (False tangled filament alarms), but interestingly enough the Overture Matte (Supposedly also Polymaker) is fine on my ACE* Pro. I just run the Matte on the spool holder now, takes a minute to switch out... a small trade off since I don't really print multicolor.

*Edit: ACE not AMS

I've had no issue with two spools on my p1s ams V1. I really like their color selection too.

I run a small business and use a ton of Polymaker filament in my X1Cs and P2S printers and it's fantastic. I just spent $15+ a roll on it on Black Friday deals. The Starlight Neptune's all time cheapest price was $18.79.

In for one!

Ok price. Usually below $10/kg is my strike price
Poor take. Not all filament is the same. Polymaker is a quality tier 1 brand.

You should figure out what's going on with that. I have two X1Cs with AMSs and two P2Ss with the AMS 2 Pros and do not have any issues with the Matte filament rolls. Polymaker is one of my main filaments and I probably go through a hundred rolls a year. The only time I get any issues is when the filament rolls get low but that's with every brand even ones on plastic spools.

I realized I incorrectly used the term AMS instead of ACE - I've since corrected my post. I have an Anycubic ACE PRO.

Amazon has several 4 pack Rapid PLA+ and regular PLA filament sets from Elegoo and Deep Lee (think it is also from Elegoo?) for less than these, several color options, have been using these filaments for a good while with great results. Just do a search. Prices from less than $41 to $45

It'll be fine I run the cheapest I can find regardless of brand and has very few issues. I'm convinced most of it comes from the same place.

Get the expensive brands when they're cheap so you can decide yourself how much it's worth. There are so many nicer colors out there, but you have to try brands. Secret: buy on sale when you see it on sale go from there.

Agreed. Just meant it's in the premium tier of filament. As in for 95% of tasks you need pla for it'll basically perform the same. They have solid QC
